Congratulations to Clare Ramirez, National winner of the HCA Art Contest!

Every year students from across the country submit drawings to the HCA Christmas Artwork Contest. Only 14 winners and 10 honorable mentions are chosen from the thousands of beautiful and creative entries sent in. The winning images are printed on Christmas Cards that will be sold to earn money to help children in Holy Childhood Association's missions around the world.

Clare was honored at the Holy Childhood mass, held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels on October 24th, where her artwork was on display. All of the original winning designs will be on display at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. for the Advent season. Clare and her family have been invited to, and plan to attend a special Mass for winners and their families in Washington, D.C. in December.

Orders for the Holy Childhood Christmas cards will be taken within the next few weeks. They can be ordered through schools, diocesan mission offices and the HCA national office for $10 for a box of 24 cards.

Congratulations again to Clare, and may she inspire all of our students in future HCA Christmas Art contests!
